A SLEW OF FIRSTS ON THE CAPE!

CMS runners invaded the Cape in droves on Sunday for the final race of the
2005 USATF-NE Grand Prix Series. New to the Men's Open Team this year, Greg
Ward finished 3rd overall and led fellow teammates Patrick Rich and Ben
Nephew to a 1st Place Team finish! On the Women's side, Kelli Lusk, Debbie
Barry, and Cheryl Cleary held off a very equally matched MVS squad to take
1st place in the Female Open category by a scant 24 seconds!

The CMS Senior Male Team of John Lee, Jerrry Learned, and Mike Seretto
cruised home to a 1st place finish over Greater Lowell. Not to be outdone,
the CMS Veteran's Team also scored a top team finishing spot with George
Kasierski top scorer followed by Peter Orni and Stan Vancelette. In the
very strong Male Masters division, CMS still took home 3rd with Dan
Verrington, John Lee, and Jerry Learned scoring.
