| Three races (Half Marathon, 10K and 5K) with different starts throughout beautiful Plymouth, all ending at Plymouth Rock with a large cookout. Tons of food. The
Half Marathon starts at the British Beer Company on Route 3A. Not a course for a PR - but a scenic run with never ending rolling hills from the start to the finish.
Well manned water stops about every mile and a half with volunteers at every intersection. Two large hills between miles ten and twelve and then it is pretty much
down hill or flat to Plymouth Rock. Buses take runners back to their respective starts leaving about every 20 minutes, but more like every half hour after the Half
marathon concludes. The rolling hills on this course will amaze you as they do not stop until just before the finish line. A great course to test your summer work
if you are preparing for a fall half or marathon. I heard other runners say that the 10K is fast and the 5K is challenging. I just took them for their word after
running the half. |
