To keep up our goal of continuous improvement and awesome swag, we have some amazing new gifts for you this year, too. This year the first 400 (you read that right) registrants will receive a 50×60 Anniversary logo towel.
We’ll have pre-race stretching and great giveaways.

Day after Thanksgiving Rehearsal Run – you don’t even have to register for the race to participate!

Mile markers, finish line clock, and water @ 2 miles (weather permitting).

Hot chocolate bar and baked goods, as well as the traditional post-race offerings.

Kids’ Fun Run:
Our long beloved kids fun run, on a 1-mile out and back course, is BACK for 2025! Registration for the kids race is a $5 donation (2024 proceeds will be split between the 1% Club and Girls on the Run Worcester County). Registration is open alongside the Freezer 5 starting at 9 am, and the kids fun run is at 10:30 am. Come join us for a great warmup to the Freezer 5!

The Freezer Five Course:
The Freezer 5 course is 5 miles, mostly out and back, from the Houghton School in Sterling, MA.
The course passes by scenic farmland, and you may get a chance to see an airplane soaring overhead as you pass the Sterling airport.
The entire course is paved, and could best be described as “gently rolling”.
REFUND POLICY: Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds. While we reserve the right to cancel the race in case of “force majeure” (“unforeseen circumstances or acts of God”), such as extreme weather, terrorism, war, safety concerns, as well as any other circumstances beyond our control. In the event that we are forced to cancel the live race, we will offer a virtual race option. Should this become necessary, we will make an announcement as soon as possible with details at that time.
